First Impression : Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask [Green Tea]

Hi all, It’s another mask’s night. Right now it’s a Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask.  This is actually my first time trying sheet mask from Missha. And either way first impression is important. As important as  whether I’m going to give this/another from-the- same-brand sheet mask another shot!

How to use :

  1. After washing your face, prepare the skin with toner
  2. Spread the seet mask evenly over the face
  3. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and remove the mask
  4. Gently pat until fully absorbed

Ingredients list :

Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat., Allantoin, Betaine, Caprylyl Glycol, Aspergillus/Camellia Sinensis Leaf Ferment Extract Filtrate, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Chlorphenesin, Hydrolyzed Chitosan, Phenyl Trimethicone, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Fragrance(Parfum), Trideceth-9, Phytic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Eriobotrya Japonica Leaf Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sucrose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Mineral Salts, Hexadimethrine Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin

The packaging: simple and looks very refreshing

The scent : only a hint of green tea. Smells nice though 😊

    What I feel :

Once applied, the first thing I noticed is a warm sensation. Almost like stinging sensation lasted in whole masking process! And I’m surprised because this mask is meant to calm a sensitive skin. I think this mask is a fail! not terribly just doesn’t do what its described.😯

But! It does hydrate. An average hydration.  And I can say I don’t feel discomfort with the stickiness after removing the mask.

As you can see there is no left essence/juices to slap on. So it’s a bit disappointing.  Yes, the sheet is saturated enough but an extra essence will add another good point. 😆

The mask is a little bit off for me. It’s way too wide. And doesn’t fit in everyway. But it’s fine with mask thickness. Not to thick nor too thin. Like I say-average!

    L i k e

    1. Affordable around $1-2
    2. Doesn’t feel sticky
    3. Can easily obtain in Korean online store

    D i s l i k e

    1. Stinging sensation
    2. Doesn’t do what it described

I think it’s just an average sheet mask. I won’t recommend nor repurchase this mask again. Therefore I’m rating this 3/5.

Review : Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling in Green Tea

I really like Neogen Dermalogy product. And of course Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling is one of them. Neogen offers a wide range of skincare products although it tends to pricey side the qualities itself are questionless great. What i have is a Green Tea.

Moreover, as far as I know all Neogen products are cruelty free. And here is, ingredients list as per CosDNA

The packaging is a large and simple plastick container which holds 30 pads and exfoliating juices, ready to use. Despite the fact that it contains alcohol denat, it doesn’t irritate me. The smell is so refreshing and nice. I’m digging it!

Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling itself is described as a gentle exfoliating pad that offers all the benefits of chemical and mechanical exfoliating in one. It provides gentle yet effective exfoliation of dead skin cells and impurities.(30 pads)

    Product Details:

    How to use:

    1. After cleansing, slip your fingers into the sleeve of the gauze peeling pad so that the criss-crossed gauze side is facing down. Use gentle, circular motions all over a dry face and neck, working your way up to your forehead.
    2. Rotate the pad so that quilted side is facing down. Swipe the softer side across the face to pick up the remaining debris.
    3. Rinse with lukewarm water.

I really love this peeling gauze! Thia product product provides soft and gentle yet effective exfoliation.

Actually there are three different types of peeling gauzes : Wine, lemon and green tea. So far, Green tea is my favorite. Gives me super soft skin with no irritation. Pad is so big and saturated. I use it twice a week and afterwards my skin feels smoother, brighter, clerer and moisturized. And I can see an impressive improvement in my complexion.

    * Olive Oil : skin brightening and softening.

I can use up to 4 times on 1 sachet, just make sure to keep it safe and sound 🙂

    How to Use:
    1. Thoroughly cleanse & dry face.
    2. Open the pouch and apply mask to face and massage evenly (expect for eye & mouth area)
    3. After 5~10 minutes, rinse with warm water.

The packaging is very ordinary, simple and explains it’s purposes’ which I like as you can see above.

Once applied, it has some kind of granules that melts. I love the scent  not to overpowering and has teas in it. Just love it!

I do admit, I experience itches. Not all over the face just barely but not resulted in feeling uncomfortable.

After 10 minutes, it makes my face more supple which I have no idea how long will it lasts.
