First Impression : Skinfood Jeju Tangerine – Beauty in A Food Mask

Hi. It’s Monday night and it’s time for another sheet mask review. I’m so much into sheet mask. I’ve got huge rotation and I’m determined to use all my masks up.😆

Description: A beauty food mask sheet that provides fresh moisture to dull skin. Contains Jeju Tangerine Peel Extract.

To Use: After cleansing, use a toner to refine skin texture. Place mask on entire face, avoiding eyes and lips.  After about 10-20 minutes, remove the sheet and lightly pat to absorb the remaining essence.

Tip: Before putting on a sheet mask, make sure to cleanse your face for the best result

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Methyl Gluceth-20, Butylene Glycol, Blueberry Fruit Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Betaine, Sodium Carbomer, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Beta-Glucan, Yeast Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Witch Hazel Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

Volume : 18ml

The packaging : It’s simple and represents Jeju Tangerine very well.

The scent : is not too overpowering, there is just a hint of refreshing citrusy fragrances

How I feel :

The sheet is thicker than any other masks I’ve tried. Besides,It feels heavy and dry on my face. The first time I opened the lid, it seemed that the sheet’s soaked enough but it wasn’t! so I just smeared the essence’s remnant on the sheet for a better result.

The essence is a clear bright juices. With less slimy feeling. What I like is the afterwards, the essence is absorbed wonderfully so no stickiness involved. 😊 Unfortunately, it generates several little white heads. Maybe my skin is not compatible very well with the ingredients. I think it might be sensitive to Butylene Glycol that cause me the white heads.

I don’t see any right away dullness Improvement nor brightening effect. But my skin feels moisturized a little bit. And I forgot to mention that the sheets fits!

Finally, I think I won’t give mask a second chances.

L i k e

  • Affordable around $1-2
  • Doesn’t feel sticky afterwards
  • Fits my face perfectly

D i s l i k e

  • Cause me whiteheads
  • Too thick sheet
  • Don’t show wanted result right away

I’m rating this 3/5. It’s just a so so mask for me. 😯

So what do you think?

First Impression Of Skinfood Rose Essence Lip Balm No. 2 : Tinted Balm

Dear all,

This time I’m going to review a Lip Balm from Skinfood. It’s an Skinfood Rose Essence Lip Balm No. 2 :A tinted Balm

I got this from February’s My Beauteque Bag.Though I just use it I can say that I’m liking it.

Described as An essence lip balm with rose essential oil that moisturizes and nourishes your lips at the same time while protecting from environmental aggressors. The subtle fragrance of rose attunes your senses.

How To Use : Apply liberally onto the lips whenever they feel dry or you want to create soft lips

1. For malnourished, dry, flaky lips: No. 1 Treatment Balm 2. For natural-looking rosy lips: No. 2 Tinted Balm

I can say this balm surprisingly moisturizing. It has thick -gel like consistency but does not feel uncomfortable. The color is dark pink and smells like rose – very wonderful but not too overpowering. The packaging is neat but I don’t like the rose patterned paper. I looks a little bit cheap. I think it would be better if the lip balm tin is engraved with rose patterns.

The color soakes beautifully to the lip and leaves a nice sheer pink tint. More like glossy finish. Moreover I  also notice that it also makes lips smoother.

L i k e

  • Very affordable around $3-5
  • Beautiful pink tint with glossy finish

D i s l i k e

  • The scent could be too strong for some people
  • Does not like dipping my finger into it

I’m pretty impressed with overall quality of this balm. Will I recommend this? Of course I’m rating this 4/5

April’s Mask Maven : The City in Spring

Hi. It’s another subsribed edition from my fav ÷ Beauteque. Right now, I’ve got April Mask Maven called The City in Spring! This pack of masks is promised to be filled with abundance of nourishing fruit and botanic ingredients. And of course I’m a big fan! 😆

This is a information card re all the masks that I’ve received.

The pack comes in a simple purple net bag which is so so and I think Beauteque can do much better for big  improvement.

This Banila Co. Radiant Lace Hydrogel eye patch is fancy!😀 and it’s the second time I received from Beauteque.  I don’t see right away betterment either way I think I must in habitually put this eye patch on. 😄 But still it’s a fun eye patch!

Secondly, two masks form Re:cipe by Slowganic which is kind of new to me. Tangerine and Grape are all welcome. It’s priced @ $1.33-$2.

Lovemore is from Taiwan. It’s an mid-end masks and I’m eager to try this on. Made on from loofah & aloe vera. Bring it on!
I have not found how much have it priced.

And I’m kinda used to read and about to buy Dermal but yet get my hands on this.@$0.44-$1

I love the packaging of Yadah masks. It’s cute!😊 Unfortunately I can’t find the related price for these masks.

It’s simpe and cute. Masks from Skinfood is adorable. @$1- $2. Actually I’ve got 2 tangerines in this pack of masks. Not impressed!😢

Two masks of the same brand. As you can see above : Yadah, Re÷cipe by Slowganic and Skinfood what’s different only one mask from Lovemore and Dermal. I’m just hoping I could get all different brand with different ingredients. So I will experience more diversities. And more of mid end or high end masks too of course!

This is my first of Mask Maven from Beauteque and my experience quite ordinary. Is it live up to the theme, YES. But it lacks of quality and assortment. But still I love Beauteque 😊

See u on next month Mask Maven unbagging. 👍

Beauteque February Bag : All About You

Hi all, It’s gonna be a fast unbagging.
The package came in red-black bag. And nothing is so fancy about it.

    Quite big and practical.

    February’s card

    And the line up:

So far my favourite would be the exfoliating brush and skinfood lip balm. Luckily I’ve got Rose Essence Lip Balm and still wondering on how to use about the Lador Sleeping Clinic Ampoule.

So far I discover new and fun product on February Bag. How about you?

I experience good services, fast customer service and a reasonable prices .. .  what’s lackings  are samples 😥  It would be great if seller could give samples ‘cos samples always are great treats for buyers.

I know that I’ve always buy directly from TesterKorea or any other Korean online sites, but it also feels nice to have an local online shop that sells lots of thing that you’re looking for especially Koreans’ Cosmetics and Skincare.  Therefore I’m rating 4/5. 😆

Skinfood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream SPF20 Pa

I’m learning something today, that I would never had enough with BB Cream. Since I like BB Cream more than CC Cream, so mostly you’ll find me review BB cream. But I’ll do some review on CC Cream that I own.

I always love Skinfood, after Red Bean BB Cream, I’m trying Peach Sake Pore BB cream SPF 20 PA shade no. 1 that’s meant to cover my pore exactly.

The packaging is too adorable too resist. Easy pump and small 30ml is just the right amount for someone who likes to try new BB Cream.
The scent is more like to peachy side than sake. I love it!!

    Product description:
-Controls sebum, and makes skin luxuriously soft and fresh.
    -Spread easily for light coverage.
    -Has a SPF20/PA+

    How to use:
Apply a proper amount to your face with the finger tips or sponge.

I’m applying this BB cream with sponge. Result might be different regarding what kind of tool you use.

    After 2 hours

It’s a lightweight BB Cream and I like it. Applied, it has a proper glows that enhance  my skin but not thick enough to cover dark spot. But it’s a big OK to cover fine lines and pores (small pores of course)!
I’m starting to get oily on my nose and forehead since I’ve got combination skin top about 5-6 hours. But I can manage this with my new powder which I’ll soon review. . .  Yeeeeey 🙂

So far I’m enjoying this BB Cream, therefore I’m rating this 4/5.

    Haul Oohh Haul From Testerkorea

    Hi all,

It’s my latest haul of Testerkorea.  It’s currently my favourite Korean online shopping store. Though Testerkorea is cheap with samples,it still provides great range of prices. And shipping fee is not too expensive.
I’ll be doing quick unboxing to reveal what I’d bought and as per norm I will give a proper reviews. ☺

This time the packaging came in a usual card box. Still stated fancy goods.

Inside the box all products were wrapped neatly, though I noticed few items were not. But I’m OK as long as they arrived unbroken. And since it’s not a plastic box, inside Testerkorea put lots of cacoon foam to prevent damages.
Yeeeey, finally I got myself a famous cacoon things from Testerkorea. Silly! 😂

I like innisfree’s and I’ve got several of these mask which I haven’t tried. And another lusted pact and powder since my last buys were unsuccessful.:'(

Some tints. I’m in love with Secret Key Sweet Glam Tint Glow ‘cos this is my second buy. A stick concealer and a new BB cream from skinfood ( I’m a BB cream’s fan instead of CC Cream). I love their BB cream – I used to put on Skinfood Red Bean shade #21  so right now I’m trying their Peach Sake Pore Lines #21.

    I think I made a frabjous selection.
And I paid handsomely for quite great products on Won currency which was cheaper than using Paypal.

I was using K-packet (more expensive) which supposedly reach destination faster than usual registered mail. And here is my package’s journey. . .
    Order  19 April 2015
    Shipped 23 April 2015
    Received 9 May 2015
It took 21 days from Korea to Indonesia. It’s still acceptable because got delayed on Indonesia’s custom due to public holiday.
But, for next time buys I will stick to oh so snail registered mail since it really really doesn’t show any big differences between registered mail or K-packet. Better I’m spending on more products… 😆

The good news is Testerkorea did ship less then 7 days. Yeeey which shows great improvement.

So what do you think of my simple haul?

Skinfood : Rose Essence Soft Cream Blusher #6 (Edge Rose)

Hi all. How are you doing?

I’m so sorry that I’ve been delaying to post reviews. I’m on acne medications right now therefore I’m stopping my self from heavy urges to try some products that I’ve bought. . .😣

It’s just my experience on Eglips powder previously worsen my skin and it broke out terribly. 😥 I’ve never had bad skin break outs since 6-7 years ago that required me to go to doctors. So yeah it’s a practical wisdom gained from a deep observations. . . ‘Please don’t continue any skincares or makeups products usage when you already notice it would  break your skin out!’ . . . Ouch maybe you all already know this! But I was hopeful before that Eglips Powder would result in differently. . . Really high hopes! . . .

So, right now it’s just an instantaneous review,  hopefully it can help you to decide whether this product is great or not.

I love blusher and always carry one to everywhere I go. Blusher is a necessity. It really elevates the overall presentation. Especially when I get stressed out, Adding a pinch of pink or peach color would be refreshing. Right now I’m trying Skinfood Rose Essence Soft Cream Blusher # 6 ( Edge Rose). This one from my previous haul from Testerkorea.

It contains Rosehip Extract and Rose Extract.
Rosehip Extract are particularly high in vitamin C content which is an antioxidants that slows the free radical damage thus avoid skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.

I’ve got several blusher that almost in the same shades like this one. I like pink color more because it gives subtle shine and glow without being copious. In other words, pink just matches my skin tones perfectly.

    # 6 Edge Rose is the bolder of all available colors. It’s a cream type blusher. Appears matte on skin which I really love. So, I can use this as my everyday makeups routine.

    Product description :
Cream moisture type for long lasting color
-Thin application with silky glowing skin look
-Contains Rose hip oil and Rose extract

The packaging is super cute. Peach pastel-colored with a hint of roses. I like all Skinfood’s packaging. So vintage yet modern. It has mirror which is very practical.  So you can retouch up everytime everywhere without any worries. And it’s in a perfect size! 😉

The scent is wonderful. It’s a rose and a hint of sweet honey. As per name Rose Essence is presented beautifully.

The color looks very pigmented and intimidating. Haha but don’t worry it can be tamed.

    How to use:
Apply using fingertips gently and blend

Yes, it’s unhygienic. Coz’ I actually have to nudge the cream and it leaves an obvious unattractive fingerprints. I prefer cream blusher on tube though.

It’s pretty pink color. But be careful not to apply to much. Just tap. .  Tap on the apples  of the cheeks and a bit on the cheekbones. Sometime over the  bridge of the nose to create a younger and sweet looking then blend. ( I saw this technique on Etude blusher blend like a shape of butterfly. But I totally forget the technique’s name). And if the blush got too overload just tap some powder to tone it down.

    And the scents linger!
I like the overall presentation but It holds 2-3 hours only which is a so so for me. Yeah I guess it’s not a failure nor also a great success. I rate this 3 out of 5.

Sample Review: Skin Food Black Egg Pore Primer

Dear all, I’m on heavy primer rotation right now. Another primer that I’m using is a Skin Food Black Egg Pore Primer.

I got this from my haul of Eopenmarket’s on here

It has a decent packaging, shaped like an egg even though I really have no idea what black egg is?
Like every Skin Food Packaging it has a simple and vintage design which I like.
This primer is supposed to remove sebum from my skin and makes it cleaner and softer.

I can not define the scent. It smells like any usual skin care I suppose. One sample can be used 2-3 times of use.

The texture on a glance looks quite dense. But it actually is not hard to blend. Once spreaded, it turns into powdery-like texture. Very lightweight, matte-finish and cover pores all right.
As you can see from above image, it fills my fine lines very well. Leaves no sticky feeling. Instead my skin feels astonishingly super lustrous. And I believe it has a cooling effect. . .

Skin Food Black Egg Pore Primer acts really good as primer because I’m experiencing great oil control for 6-8 hours. 🙂 This product is doubtlessly the one that I’m looking for a primer. Yet, after 1 weeks putting this on (whilst I was testing this out, I put on my usual makeup and skincare. The only thing different was my primer routine), I notice small (cyst) acnes’ development on my forehead and my left cheek. Nothing to worry about though but I should be more conscientious that this products might not fit me very well.

Conclusively, I like all Skin food line and it barely triggers my face to break out. But not this time, I’m not going to buy Skin Food Black Egg Pore Primer in full-size tube and stopping the use of it. But it might work wonderfully on your skin!

If you want to give it a go. I recommend to buy samples first.

    Therefore, I’m rating it 3 out of 5. o(╥﹏╥)o
So, What do you think. . . ?

    New Testerkorea’s Haul

Haul always is a fun thing, ‘coz it lightens the mood 😁 unfortunately this one is going to be the last one. I’ve no more packages coming. 😥

    These are what I ordered

With shipping cost, totalling, I paid almost eq. $38.22
The package is as usual shipped in a plastic box. And still stated fancy goods. Quite sturdy but unhappyly most of items are not bubble-wrapped.

I think plastic box is a great idea since it’s reusable and safe (well yeah so far I’m content as long as I don’t receive any broken items, aren’t I easy to please or what? (/^▽^)/)

It’s just an important daily uses Some cottons (and yes, I’m buying my cotton from Korea . . .) and and a creamy bubble maker plus another pore pack.

I’ve got big pores so mostly products that I bought are to cover pores.
    Ordered 22 March 2015
    Sent 31 March 2015
    Received 16 April 2015
And that’s another almost a month shipping. 😁

And still no samples 😧 ? Is Testerkorea in the no-samples-given-mode?
Yeah. I will still buy from Testerkorea since they still get great deals going on but shipping time can be very deppresing sometimes.

    OK ladies. Go check it out! And please wait for further review. Have a nice day 😁 😆;
